Download the driver from motorola web site. Then look for this program "bitpim" it is free. After you install it, restart your pc and then connect your phone to it. It should communicate with your phone with no problems. And you should be able to ad/modify information in your phone. Good luck.
Are you using the Motorola Phone Tools software when using the USB cable? Who's your service provider for Phone? is your phone the Razr2 that's pictured above? If that's the case it looks like it's Verizon's Razr2. If it is indeed verizon's razr2, they block the File Transfer profile on all their bluetooth enabled handsets, so the problem there is them, not your phone. Verizon really only leaves the Headset and Handsfree profiles open to its users.
