I presume the computer freezes or slows right down after that..? soun ds to me like classic signs of degenerating RAM, you can easily download a memory testing utulity (i use ultimate boot CD, attainable here: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html and burn it to a disk, use it to check your RAM for bad sectors

Is windows internet explorer 8 the same as microsoft internet explorer 8

Restoring Computer to earlier state is the best solution. Only update the Internet explorer by using online updates that is downloaded from Microsoft website. WebRepOverall ratingThis site has no rating(not enough votes)

Also try to update the drivers that control your PC.

If problem still occurs then use system utility tool PCFresher that will fix windows internal errors and will fix corrupt registry errors.

Why am I getting error message for Microsoft Feeds

This is a problem with Microsoft's RSS Feed Reader. As most people use a different Reader (or don't use RSS at all) this can be disabled. Please follow the instructions below to disable it.

Open Internet Explorer.
Click Tools>>then Internet Options.
Click on the Content tab.
At the bottom, under the Feeds section, click Settings.
Uncheck all boxes and click OK.
Click OK to close the window.
Close Internet Explorer and reopen.

When I try to open internet explorer an error box pops up saying There is a problem with internet explorer and this has to close.

Internet Explorer would sometimes act like this when you have multiple toolbars or addons installed. Try this:

- Go to the control panel
- Go to internet options
- Go to the programs tab and click on manage addons
- Disable all unnecessary addons

This must work

Explorer.exe Application error

Hi bj_bhuvnesh,

Whenever internet explorer crashed, you would see the overwritten message. The best option would be to upgrade the browser if you are not using IE 8. You can also copy or format and again install the windows. Create a back up and than format the drive in which you have installed windows files.
Check the below mentioned :-

Thanks for using Fixya.
