Hello

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel after dropping it. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly , try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

Hope the advise is useful.

Regards
Andrea

Brand new battery on 1995 VW Jetta keeps being drained and car shuts off.

Have you had your alternator checked ?
If there is no charging from the alternator the "problem" will be solved as long as the new battery retaing its voltage. As soon as you start to use power you drain the battery. it's a bit like putting air into a punchured tyre ..... its still punchured . Could be your original problem ! ! Good luck

New battery HP g61 is fully charged but not working \

Maybe the AC Adapter Power Cord is not working. If you can't get on the laptop with the power cord then it is bad and the battery might be drained so you have no power source to power up the laptop.
If the laptop works only off the Power Cord and the batteryis not charging, then the battery is dead.

To check to make sure the Power Cord is working remove the battery and let thelatop run for 10 minutes or so.

To check to see if the battery has any charge left in it put the battery in andremove the power cord. If it won't boot or shuts down then the battery is deadand needs to be replaced if the power cord is ok.

Nokia 1650 is dead so plese jamper solusion

The most likely problem is that the battery has deteriorated with normal use. Plug in the phone for at least 20 minutes do not worry if it doesn't light up immediatley and don't attempt to turn it on. Try again after 20 or more minutes and if not a new battery might well be the best solution.

Beeping camera

Mine did the same thing for forever and was brand spankin new... When the batteries go dead once, I guess it glitches... You can put brand new ones in and it will Still say low battery or act like it anyway. Give it some time. Then try to turn it on again and it will be fine. Also it will say you have a low battery if you are taking too many pics at a time... like snap snap snap and it will shut down... turn it back on in twenty minutes and its fine... full battery. If you can't deal with this... Get a battery charger and rechargable batteries. I am using them now with none of these problems

Battery Problems

I had problem with the "brand new" battereis that came with camera (date on batteries was thru 2014) ... after 2 or 3 pictures ... camera would not work. I replaced with fresh batteries ... works great now. I checked voltage on shipped batteries (that came with camera) ... was about 1.3 volts ... new battereis should be 1.55+ volts. This suggests that shipped "brand new| batteries ... are not "brand new". I called Polaroid .. best I got was "sorry" ... and "call Duracell".

Camera says brand new batteries are dead, then shuts down

It is possible that the batteries are dead (they might be faulty or too old) even when they are out of the package, though unlikely. Try another set of batteries, and if these don't work, you'll probably have to send it for a checkup.
