Question about Lanard Toys Toys

2 Answers

I have a LANARD KING KONG race car with big wheels the car is up in the air. There ae 4 AA batteries in the under side of the car. There is push button on/off switch at the back of the top. What looks like a gear shift next to the on/off switch. If the gear shift is in the middle, the car moves (by hand) freely forward and backward. If the gear shift is in the forward or rear position it feels like it is in gear. What is supposed to happen when the switch is on and in gear?

Push forward and it is supposed to go forward?
Push back and it is supposed to go backward?
    NOTHING HAPPENS either way.

Hi,
when the switch is in middle then it is in neutral position. So that it moves freely.
If the switch is in forward it is programmed to move in forward and if it is in reverse programed to move in reverse.
When you switch on the toy and put the gear shift in forward it should move in forward. If gear shift is in backward it should move in backwards
Thank you

Middle is neutral and hence the car moves freely forwards and backwards. Forward position will move it forward and back position in reverse. Try it and learn about it.

I need the instruction manual for the King Kong Castle 4 play set

You might consider the link below. They have a 'request catalog button' which might get you in touch with a person who coukld provide the instructions. (There are several King Kong series items - you might identify yours through the home page at this same link before contacting them.) Good luck:'

My Microsoft Racing Wheel keeps disconnecting

Yeah thats an old one and i had one at once but i did not have a problem with mine, it sounds like a short in the wheel or you have a power issue. Are you using the rechargeable battery pack or the wall AC power plug? you may have a bad battery pack or wall plug is what i am saying. but this is an obsolete device you may have to find one cheap and see if it does the same thing as well..

Move the racing wheel closer to the
console.
• Make sure the AC power supply is plugged
in or, if you're using batteries, that the
batteries are fresh.

• Keep the console and racing wheel at least
three feet away from large metal objects,
such as file cabinets and refrigerators.

• Metallic decorations or stickers on the
console or racing wheel can interfere
with racing wheel performance. Remove
decorations and try connecting again.

• Make sure the front of the console is
positioned in the direction of the racing
wheel and away from nearby walls.

• Cordless phones (2.4 GHz), wireless LANs,
wireless video transmitters, microwave
ovens, some mobile/cell phones, and
Bluetooth headsets can interfere with the
operation of the racing wheel. Turn these
off or unplug them and try reconnecting
them.

• If you're using batteries and nothing else
works, turn off your console, remove and
reinsert the AA batteries or Xbox 360
Rechargeable Battery Pack into the racing
wheel, and then repeat the steps given in
"Connect Your Racing Wheel."

Take the screw out of the bottom front remove red plastic panel by lifting up on the front, this will allow you to lift front wheels up and to the rear, remove center wheels press the tabs on the left and right side in and remove the cab. One AA battery, reverse steps taken and begin playing.

Where's the battery????

If you consider the button and wheel side to be the front -
There is a silver oval button at the back of the mouse. Press it and the top of the mouse just behind the mouse buttons will pop open.
It takes 1 AA battery with the negative side going to the front.

Canon AE-1 with Program

Have you change with a new battery?

Or check the battery with a DVM(digital volt meter).

Or get some batteries and connect in series to equal to that voltage and use two wire leads. One lead to -negative side of the battery, other lead to +positive. Now, -neg to neg of camera and +pos to pos of camera.

You now have power to the camera to test. This will save money rather than buying the camera's battery for testing. AA, C or D will work, just look on the camera's battery to see the right voltage.

Examples: with two batteries (1.5VDC + 1.5VDC = 3..0VDC). So -(negative) of one battery to + (positive) of the second battery with solder.

-(-neg, battery, pos+) solder to -(neg, 2nd battery, pos+)+

left side , use black wire on -(Neg) and solder
right side, use red wire on +(Pos) and solder.

Now you have two leads, use those to connect to camera.

Do you get data from viewfinder?
