SOURCE: I have a kenwood 719

You can try to push the CD in further with an object and then try ejecting (be careful not to break the CD!). Also, the soft reset button on the outside of the unit may not work, but disconnecting constant power (hard reset) may cause the CD to automatically be ejected when powered back up again. This can be done by disconnecting the negative battery terminal on the car for 15 seconds. If these don't work, visit a local Kenwood stereo dealer for service as this is a common issue with the 719 series and 819 series.

check the amp. the "switches" gain, bass boost...etc they might be over powering your subs and heating them up. if those are fine then you mite want to try your subs on another migt just be that the subs are easily over heating.

Hi i need some help i have a sub and amp in a ford fiesta 2001. ive chanced cd players to a ridspeed dv720. my sub was working fine with my old cd player but now ive put the ripspeed in it doesnt work. i...

You can use a "Y" cable to combine the two RCA cables to the one out. You will need a 1 male to 2 male cable. That will solve the signal problem. Is the amp functioning properly. I would check that first. Make sure your wiring is correct. Hope this helps

How do i wire me cdplayer in to my s10

You can get an adapter for $6 so you don't have to cut the original wiring. It connects to cd player wiring then just clips in to your stereo harness that is already there. Otherwise if you are going to cut your wiring, you will have to go to installer . com or the12volt . com to find out which factory wires are which.

If you get a wire harness, then just match up the colors that are on the cd player.

Red wire is from ignition
Yellow wire is directly connected to the battery power
Black is negative ground wire that should be grounded out.
Blue wire is an acc wire that connects to the REM on an amplifier.
Orange dimmer isn't needed and blue/white power antennae wire isn't needed.
Green and purple wires are speaker wires for the back and white and grey wires are speaker wires for the front.

My 3 year olded put 2 dvds in the player and it s jamed, wont eject. Any suggestions?

Either try and tease it out through the slot using an old CD with a piece of double sided tape stuck to the edge.

If that does not work , then the player will have to be removed from the dashboard and the cover taken off to gain access to the jammed CDs inside

IMPORTANT : Make sure you have the security code BEFORE removing it (assuming that you radio requires a Security Code)

Here is a useful website showing how to remove different radios + CD players.

CD Player not workinig

Try using a cd player cleaner disk, then remove the radio fuse in the fuse block wait about five minutes then re-install. This is done to restart the radio. If that don't work disconnect the negative from the battery, wait five minutes then reattach, this will restart the cd player for sure. This will also restart the car computer just so you are aware.
