Hi

The price of hardwood floors varies by the type and quality of the wood used. While there are many expensive brands, I found a very nice oak, 3/4 inch thick and baords about 2 1/2 inches wide, that was prefinished at Menard's for $2.50 a squarefoot. We installed them ourselves - VERY EASY - and a year later they still look great and we get compliments all the time. Your best bet it to shop around at various times a year and find the best deal for you in the style of wood flooring you like best. It does pay off in the long run to shop around during the year as prices fluctuate and discounts help alot when ordering a lot of wood.

Please accept the solution. Do get back to us for any query.

Your tech is making it easy on himself, either he makes bank on the 1300 dollar repair or you back-out and let him off the hook.... Heat/ Temp sensors are nearly universal, so just about any RTD sensor will work in the oven, they are easily replaceable as well. Second, the logic control module is $269.40 at RepairClinic, I would start there- while installing the logic board, pull out the relay board and give it a close look in the daylight to see if any of the solder joints on the back of the board are cracking, burned, or otherwise failing- it is probably fine. Install the logic board and observe operation, the rest of those parts are likely not necessary- your tech sounds like a "Parts Changer Monkey," the old PCM.

MICROWAVE POWER TEST Hi Everyone, In this tip I will show you how to easily test...

MICROWAVE POWER TEST

Hi Everyone,

In this tip I will show you how to easily test your Microwaves power. If it is sufficient, or if it is not heating effectively anymore.

Non heating Microwaves are a common issue, and the most likely component that is faulty is the Magnetron - These days Magnetron's are quite expensive (usually about 50% the price of a new Entry Level Microwave). Low heating could mean a Magnetron becoming faulty (unlikely, as a Magnetron either works, or it doesn't work)

Tools required: A Normal Glass (Heat-resistant, in other words Microwave friendly), Water (Room Temperature) , a Centigrade Thermometer (Can get this at any Pharmacy)

Procedure:
1) Fill a glass with approx. 125 ml water. Use water at room temperature (from the tap), avoid using refrigerated water as this will work against the test we are doing.
2) Measure the initial temperature of the water with the thermometer (It should be between approx. 10 & 20 degrees).
3) Place the glass with the water about 2 cm away from the center of the Microwave Oven plate.
4) Heat the water at full power (The highest setting possible on your Microwave) for 70 seconds.
5) Stir the water (For 5 - 8 sec).
6) Measure the final water temperature with a thermometer.
7) If the increase is 45 degrees or more, then your microwave is heating sufficiently, if not it could mean replacing the Magnetron, or purchasing a new Microwave.

I hope this guide as helped you. If it has, please rate it accordingly.

What does e3 mean on a Samsung microwave

Temperature of exhaust air too
High
Let it cool down?
Cause:
The oven cavity gets too hot due to excessive
operation with no load or small load, or due to
some blocking materials around the Air Filter or
Air Exhaust at the back of the oven.
Remedy: • Open the oven door and check if 1) the oven
has been operating with no load or too small
load, 2) the air filter is placed in a wrong
position, or 3) any blocking materials exist
around the Air Exhaust. Cool down the oven (for
approx. 30 min) under the normal temperature.
The oven is back to normal when the error
code "E3" disappears and "ON" appears again
in the display window.
• Unplug the power cord, remove the blocking
materials around the ventilation openings, cool
down the oven (for approx. 30 min) sufficiently,
plug the power cord in again and check if the
error code appears again.
• If the symptom persists even when the oven is
cooled down sufficiently, contact the nearest
service centre

New microwave stopped working after 15 seconds

Possibly the fuse / breaker is tripped, usually all outlets in one room share same breaker. Check breakers (or fuses) or try outlet in differnt room. If the outlet has power, (plugin a lamp to check) and the microwave still does not work, take it back to store for replacement or refund.

Runs but won't heat

if everything else is working but the heating portion then your problem is most likely going to be either a bad magnetron on unit or a thermal cutoff on the magnetron... the way to access the magnetron is unplug unit and remove touch pad.. located behind touchpad you will see a square device approx. 3 inches by 3 inches and there should be a limit switch attached to the unit... remove wires and test limit switch using a meter. it should be closed and give contuinity through it... if not it is bad.. if it does then most likely the magnetron has failed ...good luck to you ..the magnetron is general a expensive part compared to the prices of the unit...

GE Spacemaker Microwave Oven STOPPED HEATING

More than likely it's the magnetron and/or diode, chances are it may still be under warranty. Online owners manual states 5 year warranty on magnetron. Part only, service call and installation not included. Diode not covered. They require serial number, and will let you know if it's still under warranty. Installation appears to be simple, UNPLUG MICROWAVE THEN MAKE SURE YOU DISCHARGE CAPACITOR. INJURY OR POSSIBLE DEATH IF NOT DISCHARGED PROPERLY. Google how to install magnetron and discharge capacitor. It will save you approx $ 250 - 300 doing it yourself. Hope this helps. Be Safe

F3 problem

Hi!

It seems that the problem is Open or Shorted Oven Temperature Sensor (RTD). To resolve the issue you need to check the oven temperature sensor circuit at oven temperature sensor which should be approx 1100 ohms at room temperature and also check for cut or pinched wire or loss of contact. If still the problem persist then p lease check sensor harness and connection between oven sensor and oven control. If wiring is ok, then you need to replace the control board (clock).

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
