Question about Sony Handycam DCR-SR42 Camcorder
I have 2 computers in my house. We set up our Sony Camera DCR-sr42 on first computer, and had it registered. All video files downloaded OK, only problem is that this computer is a bit old and slow, and it is not powerful enough to process files to burn to DVD at a reasonable speed.
So then we set up the camera, on a second computer (newer, faster). Only problem is we can't view our video files now. No picture comes up for files. What we do get though, is an icon showing a film strip broken in half.
What is going wrong?
Is this a security measure?
How can we set up the camera on a better computer?
Hope you can help. I'm desperate.
Well it's the formating of the files try to download a registry mechanic or a codec to read the files. I'll show you the link of registry mechanic.
use utorrent ( utorrent.com ) or azureus ( azureus.com ) for downloading it. the keys are given at the comment section. under it.
hope I helped you a lot and have a good day.
ps. I tried it and it works great, I hope it will work with your computer, well I guess so, because its a new computer new computer don't have new codecs..
