Dear sir could you be so kind as to tell show me how to change the keyboard in my mothers laptop/Fujitsu Siemens..Amilo pro v2055.Im not a computer wizz, but am quite practical and just wondered if it was an easy task. Many thank's..Andrew.
Hi is that you want to replace the existing keyboard from your mom's laptop ? if so right above the keyboard you will find a removable plastic panel (it is fragile breaks very easily so be carefull ) which would secured in place with snap on plastic locks or 3 screws would be securing it in place which you can see on the rear of the laptop , if the battery compartment is under the top portion then remove the battery you can see these screws . In any case please take your OWN TIME TO ANALYZE and only then attempt this. If you are succesfull in doing this then remove the other screws visible that holds the KB in place and lift up the KB slowly because the connecting cable is flexible PCB and you could easily TEAR IT OFF if you pull hard . The Connector also needs lot of attention - very thin and small release the side catches by lifting it with a watch screw driver very slowly else you will end up breaking it . If you have come to this stage GREAT replacing KB is reverse of all this procedure.

Hi. I have a problem with my D620: it it's on battery, it won't turn on. But if I plug it on AC, it's ok. If I plug it on ac for 1 second, then press the start button and then remove it from AC, the laptop is working. The battery is fine... The only problem is that it can't start if there is no AC at the second I press on the button. If I shut the computer down on battery and start it after 2 seconds, it will start again, but if i wait more than 10 secs, i'll have to plug it so that it want to start. Can this be a battery problem? (the bios util says everything is ok) Anyway, how can i fix this? Thank you very much!

this hibernate recovery problem for the Acer Aspire One netbook looks to be reaching epidemic scale. Mine also went to sleep and when I tried to ''wake'' it up, the power light and charing light are all that are illuminated. All I hear is a repeating series of spool-up and spool-down cycles of the internal cooling fan. There is no hard drive light and the screen is completely off -- not even a glimmer of backlight. The machine appears to be in a coma. This occurs with battery and AC. There is no keyboard or mouse response so i cannot even get to a restore status (at least there's no screen output to indicate one way or the other! Would appreciate any counsel on this matter. i have to pull the hard drive and have it manually transferred or backed up. I had just finished singing the praises of this machine which appeared quite stable. Of course one year plus a week later it decides to take a powder. interesting?
