Question about Polaroid Televison & Video

I have my computer monitior hooked up to my polaroid flat screen tv. Worked fine for a while, then got a blue screen that says "not support". It has also been making a loud screech and a crackaling noise. HELP

The 'NOT SUPPORT' message is due to the video signal resolution form your PC is too high for the TV to display, you need to set your PC video resolution to the native resolution of this TV.
Loud screeching sound may be causing by failing amplifiers if it comes through the speaker or may be from the power supply module due to bad/dying DC filter caps.

Polaroid tlx-01911c hdmi with laptop says not support!


You either lost HDMI on the TV or the Laptop. The way to tell is hook up the laptop to another set aand see if it works. If it does than the problem is in the Main PCB of your TV.

Since the tv is not turning on try unplugging it from the wall outlet for a few minutes. Up to 10 or 15 and see if the set will reset on it's own. If that does not work press the power button and when the front light comes on press and hold power button for about 10 seconds to see if it will reset this way. Maybe this work.
