Question about Kenmore HE2 Plus Front Load Washer
The spider gear is bad,you can take the bottom panel off to see if the shocks or one of the shocks are broke but if it's happening in the spin cycle it's the spider gear.i hate to tell you this but it would be cheaper to change out the washer, the gear is like 500 bucks just for the part and you have to pull the hole washer apart to get at it and split the tub and change out the back part of it,this happens mostly from using to much detergent,it eats at the spider gear and it crumbles like acid is on it,everybody reads the back of the bottle but those measurements are for top load washers, the front loaders use less water and very little detergent and it should be H.E. detergent,it has less suds in it.let me know how you make out, don't call anyone in to check it,isee this all the time, save your money for a house call.good luck
