Ipod Sync Freeze

Hey,
This all started when I restored my Ipod.
I did everything per instructions, but halfway through my computer threw a fit and said file corrupted.
Well since then every time I sync my ipod for whatever reason it freezes around 3000 songs.
I at first thought it was a certain file, but I watched it all sync and it came to song. Needless to say I erased it, thinking the problem was solved I restored it and synced it.
Yet again it threw a fit around 3000 songs.

What to do?

My YouTube on my iPod touch doesn't work it says

Hi there,

Try the steps in order to connect YouTube to iPod;
1. Backup and reinstall your system software (Mac OS X, Windows Vista, etc.) 2. After getting your computer back to normal, use a third-party program (PhoneView, to backup your iPod, and after that, restore it. 3. Once the restoration is complete, try using the YouTube app before putting everything else back on it. If it works, continue to step 4. 4. Put all your music, apps, photos, and everything else back on the iPod, then try some of the other apps. If all of the apps work, including YouTube, you're all set.
If you don't feel like reinitializing your computer, then use another computer to restore and sync your iPod, but no other computer. If you sync between two or more computers, your apps will be "broken," or not start up at all. Hope it works. Regards, Anirban Mazumdar

How to "Unfreeze" your iPod

If you have owned you iPod for about a year, you will notice that it will freeze up every once and a while. If it has not done this yet, believe me, it will. When it happens you will probably panic, like I did. But don't, there is a simple way to unfreeze it that works almost every time.
Resetting your iPod

Hold the middle button(select button) and the "Menu" button on your iPod down for about 7-10 seconds, or until you see the Apple logo appear in the middle of the screen.

Wait for iPod to start back up. Now it should be working properly. If you own an iPod Touch then hold down the "Power/Reset" button(the one on top) and the "Home" button(the one on the front with the square in the middle) for at least 10 seconds or until you see the Apple logo.

Restoring your iPod
If this does not work, you can try "Restoring" it. When you restore an iPod, you are extracting the "Flawed" software and putting new software back onto it. So first plug your iPod into your computer, then open up iTunes and select your iPod in the list of devices to left. Now right under the big picture of your iPod you'll see a button labeled "Restore," click it. Restoring will wipe all your music, movies and pictures off of your iPod, but if you restore you iPod on the same computer that you sync it too, then you'll be fine, you just need to re-sync your iPod once you're done restoring your it. Restoring will take about 10-15 minutes.
Hope this helps!

I forgot my unlock code for my nano can u help

font.f1 {font: 12.0px Times} Hello and thanks for contacting FixYa Technical Support.

Unfortunately, you are going to have to restore your iPod, but this is not an "all is lost scenario. As long as you have already previously backed up your iPod via a previous sync, you should be ok.
To restore your iPod is simple:
* Be sure you restore your iPod on the same computer or notebook that your previous iPod backup files or stored.

* Now, make sure you are using the latest version of iTunes.
• Be sure your iPod is correctly connected to computer or notebook .

• Finally, in the left column under Devices, click on your iPod, then click on Restore in the Summary tab.

* Allow the process to complete and your iPod will be restore to its original factory default settings.

* Now simply sync your iPod with iTunes and this is where your last sync now comes into play.

When you sync after the recovery, iTunes will look for your iPod's previous backup and per your OK, will restore your most recent backup to your iPod.

This time, when you set your passcode... Please make sure to write it down somewhere or on something, that is easily accessible and one you won't soon forget.zmhf79cfr6+udyusgogms8nf78nta+etfx1u7mmv76wfjaeraahnhckf3xogaaach5baeaab8alaaaaaasabiaaaxc4cekummwy0pobicindfjklkwxbffb8eutbsiqtlohh7pq3ognbajiserqsy9nc4jkjdqjbngpehwzdoeh0izycykbe1haqaklaqfxaihebecbw8wgqkzew4oew8hhagiynt7cxabawmbmromj5gumaczma+cgaclawyhmqwdea+ocazlgwiof5kxdgibhn4iehuughaqdnv1dsuafbulsh0alakvcralcgbahxiydr0hhptxhgcddrhbhwgybhqes0cefayyucndfqzetgyv6tw4sqtamia9dr9caaa7

How can i unlock my ipod touch? i forgot my passcode.

The only thing that could make your iPod touch work again is to put it to DFU mode and restore. I have a full instruction about that to guide you step by step, making sure that you're doing the right thing.

However, that process will wipe out all the data from your iPod, you won't even be able to sync or create a back-up because iTunes does not recognize any iPod that is passcode-locked.

That is also why you need to put your iPod to DFU mode first, so that iTunes can recognize it, to by-pass the fact that it is passcode-locked. And, once its in DFU mode, the only thing that you'll be able to do is to restore, nothing else. And you have no other choice.

Click here for instruction on how to put your iPod touch to DFU mode and restore.

Use the Five Rs to restore the iPod. You will lose the data that is currently on it if you restore but you can always re-sync the data to the iPod.

My ipod is locked and it wouldnot unlocked itself nor play the songs what can i do?

First you need to piug your ipod into the computer. Then back up everything on on th ipod on your computer. Then follow the blow text: Start by syncing your iPod with your computer. When you do this, the iPod management screen will appear. Midway down that screen there's a button that reads "Restore." Click the restore button. This begins the process of restoring the iPod to its factory settings. After you click the restore button, iTunes will ask you to confirm that you really want to do this. If your iPod content is backed up, go ahead. The iPod restore process includes iTunes downloading and installing iPod software and bug fixes. You will see a window that looks like this. Follow the onscreen instructions. On a Mac, you will be asked to enter your computer?s password. On Windows, the installation will just proceed. As iTunes restores the iPod, you will see a progress bar. After the restoration process has completed, iTunes will pop up a window letting you know that it?s done. Now you?ve got an empty, freshly formatted iPod. Now you can sync the iPod with your computer and download your iTunes library again.

I get a sync error-48 on my ipod 3rd gen when plugged into pc

You need to restore the iPod using the latest version of iTunes. This error usually occurs on mac computer's. However, restoring is the same trouble shooting option for both. Below I have posted a step by step on restoring your iPod just in case you need the information :)
How to restore iPod (ARTICLE NUMBER HT1339)
Open iTunes, and then connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.

After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel and you will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes windows.

Click the Restore button. You will be prompted with one or more restore options that may prompt iTunes to automatically download the latest iPod Software.

The 4 possible restore options are: Restore Option

1: Restore - Restores with same iPod Software version already on iPod. Restore Option

2: Use Same Version - Restores with same iPod Software version already on iPod even though a newer version is available. Restore Option

3: Use Newest Version - Restores with the latest iPod Software available. Restore Option

4: Restore and Update - Restores with the latest iPod Software available.

If you are using a Mac, a message will appear prompting you to enter an administrator’s name and password.

A progress bar will appear on the computer screen indicating that the first stage of the restore process has started.

When this stage is completed, iTunes will present one of two messages on screen with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Restore Instruction 1: Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).

Restore Instruction 2: Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).

During the stage 2 of the restore process, the iPod will show an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remains connected to the computer or iPod Power adapter during this stage.

Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see since the backlight on the iPod display may be off.

After stage 2 of the restore process is complete and the iPod is connected to the computer, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear asking you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences similar to when you connected your iPod for the first time.
