Question about JVC GD-V4211PCE 42 in. Plasma Television
Your TV power supply board is damage and will soon cause your TV to not power on. Yes, cleaning the fan will only temporary fix the situation but eventually you will need to fix the power supply board. You can order one on ebay or amazon but make sure to have the correct serial/model number on the back of the TV before ordering and fixing it yourself. However, if you are not sure then have a certified tech to come see it.

You may have at least a blown fuse. However you may also have other damage to your power supply. This often happens due to the voltage spike caused by the power coming back on suddenly. You can check to see if the fuse is blown, however once you change the fuse and if this does not take care of the problem, I would suggest that if you do not have a background in electronics, that you have a qualified technician take a look at your TV set.
I hope this helps,

Hi, basically it needs to be receiving a signal for it to operate.
eg. with my one i connect my decoder into it and once the decoder is on the tv turns on. good thing with this monitor is that i just need to turn the decoder off and the screen turns off shortly after. hope this helps.
