Hi I just bought a moultrie d65ir game camera. I got some pictures on my sd card, but when trying to view them on the pc, they are all scrambled. I tried a diferent pc and card reader but same results. My sd card is a scandisk ultra 8gb card. I can see the pics in thumbnail form but when I try to view them in full size they are all messed up. If you are using a Micro sd card you will need a Sandisk sd card that says sdhc nothing higher the class 4 sd card which is the speed of the card. If still need help call Moultrie with equipment to troubleshoot the number to call 8006533334 option 1 and 1 live person

Just to let you I had Moultire m-80 when I used a pny sd card it ruined my camera. They were kind enough to replace it for me. I just use what they recommended do not have any more problems. I only delete pic on my computer and not digital camera. Try doing a hard reset take everything out turn to the on position for about 2-3 minutes after 3 min put brand new battery's in it while on the on position should say no card at this time. If doesn't turn camera off put sandisk sdhc card in it. Test camera again if still not working Moultire will help you I have talked them great customer service.

HARD RESET TAKE OUT BATTERIES SD CARD PUSH THE ON OFF BUTTON FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS LEFT EVERYTHING OUT FOR 2-5 MINUTES. THEN PUT THE BATTERY BACK IN TURN THE CAMERA ON IT SHOULD SAY NO CARD. THEN TURN IT OFF THEN PUT THE SD CARD BACK AND TRY IT IN THE DARK AREA TO SEE IF THE FLASH WILL GO OFF. IF THAT DOESN'T WORK WILL NEED TO SEND IT IN FOR REPAIRS.

Try the cards in another camera. If you get good images to show, then the problem is in the cameras. If not, then the problem is in the reader. See whether some dirt is in the slot interfering with the contacts.

Is the small switch on the side of the SD card pushed up toward contacts? Has the card been formatted by a PC(A NO-NO)?
Remove card;turn camera on..go to setup; press up arrow once to get "DELETE ALL IMAGES NO?";press select button to get flashing "NO"; press up or down button once to change flashing NO to flashing YES; press select once...should get "DONE";press select until back in "SETUP...Turn camera off insert SD card and try again...may need new SD card.

i have the d65IR and from night to night it takes like 6 pictures and thats it .. my apple pile is gone and i know if the camera was to be taking pictures every 15 seconds there should be more than 6 picture in that lenth of time so do i get anouther camera or is there a problem i can fix ? i have the camera atleast 45 to 50 feet away like it says to on the instructions ..?

The camera defaults to black and white in low light conditions, so only daylight pics will be in color. Any SD card should work fine, but you may need reader software -- check your operating manual.

The formats are different among camera brands. They are not usually interchangeable.

The SD card has a lever on the side of it. Move it to the other position.That is to prevent accidental erasing.

no disc for these cams...should be able to view pics straight from SD card thru a card reader to pc...(may have to go thru START..MY COMPUTER...LOCATE DRIVE CARD READER IS DESIGNATED AS....
also should be able to view pics on tv thru video cable attached to cam.
