Greetings,
This is actually a feature. Most projectors, when mounted on a ceiling are turned upside down. You want to go into the menu and look for view. Then look for Vertical flip and Horizantal flip and make sure that they both say off. Let me know if you have any more questions.

DVD player makes grinding sound and doors don't open

You may have a stuck DVD in the player. Most DVD players have a small pin type hole in the front where you can inser a paper clip to manually open the tray. Otherwise, you have to remove the cover of the drive to actually see what is happening. support hp com Maybe this link will be of some assistance.

DVD w ill not eject from my Toshiba DVD player...Screen says open but the door never does

You will have to change the loading tray drive belt. For which you have to remove the top cover and then unscrew 4 screws that hold the disc mechanism and turn it upside down. You will see a small belt on a pulley which has to be replaced. Do all this only if you have access to replacement belt. In some players if you look at the bottom under the drive mechanism you will find a ****. Insert a thin screwdriver and push a plastic lever in the direction indicated with an arrow. The loading tray will eject the disc. Only some models have this feature. You have not mentioned the model # of your player.

I have a toshiba DVD Video player SD-4000KU2. I'm watching a movie which has an audio in English but the menu is in French. I would like to know how to change the menu to English. Thanks

Use your remote to access the set-up menu. It will ask you what language you prefer for on-line menus. It might read "idioma". Scroll through the menu options until you find on-screen language,. then select English.

Menu Selection does not work

I had the same problem with the same player for some DVDs. Fortunately, for me, there is a solution that has worked 100% of the time.

I am assuming you are probably setting the DVD player to upconvert to 1080 i or p. What you need to do is go to DVD setup and change the resolution back to standard def (480i) just for the menus. The menus will now work properly. Once the movie starts you can switch it back to 1080i/p with no problem.
