It's not the messages that render the blank useless (i.e. less than blank!) since the DVD spec's pretty tough and can relocate the disk ID bands after the fact, if sufficiently cool burner software is at hand. Is there no more in the log or messageboxes (from Roxio, I take it?) than those few lines?
If indeed you can't gather more from Roxio's info than that, it might pay off to make sure your burner has the most current firmware using cdinfo. com or the maker's site to grab firmware you can flash to your burner just like you'd flash a PC's BIOS. Secondly, perhaps you can put the optical drive on its own SATA or ATA bus in cable-select (or Master) mode and see what changes; at least indicate whether that error came in reading or writing the disk.
You should absolutely provide a more verbose error message if you don't figure it out and just post your own answer for others to enjoy the benefit of later. One hint Roxio might have glossed over, rather than make an animation of their mascot coughing into its hand, is that (most DVD) software isn't meant to copy commercial DVDs with the copy-protect bits set etc. You're supposed to call Universal or Criterion or whoever is listed in your lock-box with the list of discs you've insured and need replaced, knowing they don't burn the proofs. Or use the appropriate remastering software for your particular and amazingly unique purposes.

When publishing the recorded video to DVD Disc, the unspecify error occur. already trimmed movie to 8min and 500kb file wmm. using windows movie maker.

That's really bad quality (and a waste of a 4.7GB DVD) for 8 minutes if it's really 500kb; the opposite if it's 500kb/s. It sounds like you're using Windows 7, but an unspecified error is pretty useless! Try examining the message for details, and look in application logs (you might have to enable them) to get a proper error message. That'll let you know what trouble it might be having upsampling your video to DVD.
