Unable to open documents saved on my SanDisk

Try using my auto-installer script for the excellent USBDeview+USBIDs using this you can ensure that the USB hub has found the device and created the Virtual CD drive used to run the U3 launcher. I only wrote the installer to make it easier for you all.

With this you can disable/enable install/uninstall the drivers this makes it way easier than using the Windows equivalent.

NOTE: If you have a conflict with the launcher you will probably get either error 1001 or 1010 for a full list of the known problems look here.

Hi, I have a computer into which I want to boot without the Hard Drive using a Pen Drive. I tried PortableApps application installed in my 8 GB Flash Drive and unable to boot with it. The Operating System...

Your pen drive needs a boot sector and an operating system.

1.) Format the Pen Drive using HP format tool found HERE. It's a 2 MB download. There is also a link to Windows98 system files. You need those if you want to boot your computer in MS DOS from your pen drive. The above method will not let you read/write to NTFS drives.

2.) If you want to boot a semi-functional windows from your pendrive you need "BART's PE Builder" found HERE, and a windows instalation CD (the list of supported Windows versions is found on the same site). "Barts pebuilder" is designed to create bootable live windows CD-s for system administrators and "geeks", there is a small .BAT file in it that installs it on your pen drive. Read a few readme files and follow the instructions on the web site.

3.) If you want to boot Linux from your pen drive visit this web site http://www.pendrivelinux.com/

To use moserbare 1gb pen drive

sarwesh,
to use USB mass storage in Windows 98 you need to install drivers for your mass device. So,
  1. Findout if any CD/DVD shipped with your pendrive. Install driver from that to your Windows 98 PC, then you can use it.
  2. If you don't have any setup disk from manufacturer, there might be drivers and software prestored in your pen drive. Use this pendrive to any other PC with XP/Vista. Burn these files to any CD/DVD and then make install these drivers to your Windows 98 PC, after that you can use your pen drive on your Windows 98 PC.
  3. If you are not able to do step 2, then goto manufacturer's site select your model no. and download driver and install.

If still you didn't found. Tell me your pendrive manufacturer and model no. I will try to give you link.

Thanks
Iqbal
