Question about JVC GR-D350 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I'm using a firewire to USB cable to connect this JVC GR-D350U Model to my computer, but windows won't recognize the device. Either it's the cable (I'm looking into a firewire cable as reccommended by the other article) or I'm missing some driver software. I need help finding the driver support, or at least info that windows media player supports this model camera. Thanks in advance, I'm trying to dig through google searches myself for this stuff... could use some tips on that too if there's any search pros out there.
First check whether you have a DV port in your desktop, in case you dont have it, buy a IEEE1394 firewire card and install it on your mother board in one of the PCI slots. As soon as you restart your system the system will recognize your new firewire card, then connect the camera and pc through a fire wire card. As soon as you put the power button of camera ON the system will recognize your camera. Then using any video editing software you can download.
