Question about Toshiba e-Studio 202L Copier

1 Answer

Printer is fine with small office documents but we would like to increase its compatibility. We would like to utilize it for larger, graphic involved documents. When we try to do this currently, the printer stalls or prints very, very slowly. Anything we could do? Perhaps a memory upgrade?

Hi,

There were certain complaints regarding these models. As such, there is no such DIY resolution. You could only try to reset the machine and make sure that it is debris free as dust and dirt would affect the speed and quality of the print.

Now,

Professionally, there is one thing that we reported for these models that if there is a firmware or configuration problem of the TCP / IP, this could cause the machine to take extra ordinary time to print copies. There could be few drivers or settings that could be played to see if there is any improvement. However, this has to be done by Toshiba itself.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Make print larger

Your computer software (ie, Windows) will determine the print size, not the printer. The printer just takes the image from the computer and prints it. As example, you can increase the text font size of your document to make the text larger on your printer.

I need to make the font size LARGER.

To print a larger font size, you need to change the size of the text in the document.
For example if this document is a WORD document then when the document is opened in WORD you select your text and then click on the Font size and change it to a larger size.
If it is a new word document, you can set the font size before you start typing.
Don't forget to save the changes in your document.

Fonts and sizes are typically controlled by the application you are using. Are you sure you are increasing the font size? I've had some users confused by the zoom feature which is more like a magnifying lens. It just makes thing larger for viewing purposes and does not affect the print size. To change the actual font size of a document already created you would first highlight the text in the document. In Word (other applications are similar) you would then select Format from the main menu bar, then select Font. In the next box that appears you would click on the Font tab, and then in the Size field select a larger font size. After that click on OK and you should see your font size change. Let us know if that was your problem or not.
