Just want to know if my d101ggc mother board will handle a core 2 duo with the samw lga775 socket.

    If you want to upgrade you unit be sure that the motherboard socket are totally fix with the processor. The compatibility is important because if it is not compatible the motherboard can not support the processor,

    buy any motherboard BUT asus.
    asus tech support is rubbish.
    i run my system on an ASROCK motherboard.
