Your pics are still there. When you pulled out the card from the computer, I'll bet you didn't use the "safely remove hardware" function. That's why your camera now doesn't recognize the card. You could try using a card reader or you could take the card to a store like Walmart and use their picture machines that make pictures while you wait.
