Question about Hitachi 50V500 50 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
This just started a few weeks ago. After 30-60 minutes the screen turns green instantly. All colors that are supposed to be black turn green. Other colors look ok for the most part, However, if left on the problem gets progressively worse, and after awhile all that is left is a green screen with faint outlines of shapes.
I've attached some pics.
We just had the light engine replaced in January of this year.
Anyone else have this problem?
Some of the components in the video processing boards most likely have become thermo sensitive. Over time, they will fail completely. The service rep will change the processor boards that have the fault.
