Factory restore

when going through alt/f10 to restore factory settings on acer laptop will i still have windows or do i need to get a disc to restore this ?

when i start up my acer laptop it will bring up the windows logo then it goes to a warning message that says i need to restart..but it just keeps bring up the logo and then the message..what do i do to bring up windows??
