Chrome.exe - corrupt file history index 2010 -

Depending on your Operating system, go to C:\Documents and Settings\[Your user account here]\Local settings\Application data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default". You will find 5 or 6 folders and in the folder that you're in you will find some files like 'History-journal' to that effect. Delete all of these files. It will not wreck the browser or settings as these files will be recreated again.
See if that helps you!
