Hi.

To set the TV to 120VAC you need to replace the power board. That will be expensive and must be done by a technician.

The best and easiest way to proceed is buying an inverter, which will convert the 120AC into 12VDC. You will be able to plug TV directly into the inverter. It will look more or less like a power adapter. This TV does not need an expensive inverter (draw is small). A cheap one will do the job.

Here one:
Wagan 2003-6 400-Watt DC to AC Continuous Power Inverter.

Please do not forget to accept the solution.

Regards.

Ginko.

You will need to buy the power supply for the Tv which I think is a 12 volt/5 amp type .Just check this on the back panel .
You can get to buy many types of powerr supplies but a SMPS unit will be ideal because it will be less bulkier than the transformer type.
You can get to buy the SMPS unit from any electronic spares shop or industrial electronics spares outlets. This unit must be housed into a proper cabin and the main connected to a mains power plug and the output DC to the DC jack with the correct polarity. Make sure that the POLAIRTY IS CORRECT OR YOU WILL END UP DAMAGING BOTH THE SMPS ND THE TV.
Use a safety fuse at the Dc end.
Just in case your Tv is 24 volt type , you need to get the 24volt/5 amp SMPS unit.

Sorry about the wall fittings you can have L-Type brackets to be made to order or can be done by you according to the size of the TV to be fitted to the wall to hold on.

There are many standard types but making will be cost saving , especially for your dorm.

Peerless mounts should be able to take care of the mounting problem you have. Wherever you buy the mount you will need to know the VESA standard. It is:
VESA MIS-F 75mm mounting pattern

The cable company serving the dorm will have to provide you with a set top box with either composite outputs (the RCA yellow, red, and white) or component outputs (the Green/Y, Blue/Pb, and Red/Pr) in order to view tv channels.

I just bought a RoadPro 2500 and i want to buy like a dorm fridge how many watts or volts size would work??

If you are referring to the RoadPro RPPI-250
  • 2000 Watts Continuous Power
  • 2500 Watts Power Output @ 10 Minutes
  • 5000 Watts Peak Power Output.
  • A small fridge will use about 500 -700 watts, with startup wattage at around 2000watts.
  • So, a dorm fridge will work fine.
  • the RoadPro converts DC to AC voltage, so a regular 120 volt dorm fridge will work.

When I worked for Domino's decades ago we had a sort of reverse phone book called a city directory. We got it from the phone company to avoid prank orders from the college dorms. I think these are available online now, but of course that won't help if it is a cell phone.

You can But I would not connect it directly unless I had a regulator or isolation device between the set and the boats power. if your boat has 110 volt capability just be safe and use the adaptor.
