Owners manual ipod

If you are already trying to load content like mp3s and videos from itunes and it won't let you, then check the summary page of your device (in iTunes). Check the "Manually manage music and videos" box. It should let you drag and drop items to your device now.

I have an ipod shuffle. I need to know how to sync music from my itunes library to my ipod. When I plug the ipod in to my computer, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Dear ckrohn299,
First of all, do a backup of your iTunes Library by using the Apple guide:
After your backup has finished, start with the easiest fix by uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes. By following these instructions, you will only delete the application and not the music files themselves. To do this, click the Start menu, Settings, and Control Panel. Then double-click Add Or Remove Programs. Click to select iTunes from the list of installed software and then click the corresponding Change/Remove button. Click the Next button and then the OK button to confirm that you wish to uninstall iTunes. When prompted, select Yes, I Want To Restart My Computer Now and click the Finish button. After your computer restarts, browse the Program Files folder. Right-click the iTunes folder and click Delete. Next, double-click the iPod folder, right-click the Bin folder, and click Delete. Press WINDOWS-M to minimize all windows. Then right-click the Recycle Bin and click Empty Recycle Bin. Click the Start menu, Shut Down, and Restart.
After your computer restarts, double-click the My Computer icon, the C: drive (or the drive on which Windows is installed), Documents And Settings, your username, and Local Settings. Right-click the Temp folder and click Delete. Download the latest version of iTunes ( and the iPod Software ( Double-click the downloaded iTunes file and follow any on-screen instructions to complete the installation. Then double-click the downloaded iPod Software and follow the on-screen instructions.
If you still see the iPod Service Error, click the Start menu and click Run. Type msconfig in the Open field and click OK. Click the General tab, the Selective Startup radio button, and deselect the Load Startup Items checkbox. Click the Startup tab and click the iTunesHelper checkbox. Click the Services tab and click the Hide All Microsoft Services checkbox at the bottom of the window. Deselect all checkboxes in the list except for iPod Service, click OK, and click Restart. If this does not resolve the problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes one more time.
Finally, if after following these steps, you still see the iPod Service Error, right-click My Computer, click Manage, and click Services And Applications in the left pane. Click iPod Service in the right pane, click the Action menu, and click Properties. Click the Stop button in the resulting dialog box. Click the Start menu, click Run, and type "C:\Program Files\iPod\bin\iPodService.exe" /service. Make sure you include the quotation marks when you type. Click the OK button. Then click the Start menu, Shut Down, and Restart.

The problem is, i want to put music from my laptop onto my apple ipod 4GB a1051, how do i do that please?

The following information has come directly from the apple support web site.

Adding Content Automatically or Manually
There are two ways to add content to iPod nano: ? Automatic syncing: When you connect iPod nano to your computer, iPod nano is automatically updated to match the items in your iTunes library. You can sync all your songs, playlists, videos, and podcasts, or, if your entire iTunes library doesn’t fit on iPod nano, you can sync only selected items. You can sync iPod nano automatically with only one computer at a time. ? Manually managing iPod nano: When you connect iPod nano, you can drag items individually to iPod nano and delete them individually from iPod nano. You can add songs from more than one computer without erasing songs from iPod nano. When you manage music yourself, you must always eject iPod nano from iTunes before you disconnect it.

The following URL will bring you to the iPod Nano manual. For more information on setting up you iPod see chapter 2: Setting up iPod Nano

I hope that information above has helped is some way.
If possible please rate this solution.

How to down load a song to my appleipod nano 2gb?

To download songs to iPod nano: m Simply connect iPod nano to your computer. If iPod nano is set to update automatically, the download begins. Important: The first time you connect iPod nano to a computer, a message asks if you want to transfer songs automatically. If you accept, all songs, audiobooks, and other items are deleted from iPod nano and replaced with the songs and other items from that computer. If you don’t accept, you can still download songs to iPod nano manually without deleting any of the songs already on iPod nano. While music is being downloaded from your computer to iPod nano, the iTunes status window shows progress, and the iPod nano icon in the Source list flashes red. When the download is complete, a message in iTunes says “iPod update is complete.” If you set iTunes to download music manually, you can reset it later to update iPod nano automatically. For more information, see “Updating iPod nano Manually” on page 22. To reset iTunes to update iPod nano automatically with all songs and playlists: 1 Open iTunes and select iPod nano in the Source list. 2 Click the Options button and click Music. 3 Select “Automatically update all songs and playlists.” The download begins automatically.
if you need further assistance please let me know. Thanks, MIDWEst-tek

How can i load music , pl.provide me free user guide of Model a1137

You can load music through many different sources. For instance through ITunes which you have to set up an account. From a drag and drop menu from another ipod, or even through music saved to your PC through right clicking and dragging and dropping...
or just google Ipod nano user guide or double it with your model number.
