Your not being very clear in your explanation. Sounds like your hooking up a ceiling fan with lights. Recheck your wiring.

What causes the interior blower motor to run & quit sporadically even with no A/C running?

Hi Milton, Sounds like another problem with the motor or the power supply to it. Check the connections first and then the motor. Regards John

Heater fan switch light 2006 corolla

Unfortunatly, on most ne cars the bulbs cannot be replaced. Most new cars use LED bulbs built into what we call the Climate Control Module. One quick way to tell is to pull the knob off and look. Most knob will come off if they are turned to the off or lowest setting. If there is a physical bulb it should just pull out. If not...then its off to your friendly dealer for a repair or replace. FYI, It can get pricey

I am replacing the 3 speed fan switch in a ceiling fan. Upon removal of the old switch (due to a cracked/broken screw port), I noted the secific wire and color that was located in each of the four...

Use a continuity tester on old switch.
There will be 1 main wire that connected to power >>> power flows through this wire to the switch and feeds the other 3 wires > each time you click switch, power will flow to one of the other three wires

The do the same test on new switch. Match up wires accordingly.

If you don't have a multimeter, buy inexpensive continuity tester at hardware store.
Continuity tester is basically a flashlight battery and flashlight bulb that lights up when the circuit is closed

How do i replace a pull cord with light switch

Ok so, L (line) N (Neutral) and E (Earth ground), and no idea what this rose is. I suppose you mean Junction Box when you say JB. You can use the original junction box for the wall switch connector, but the Black and white wires coming from the switch must be disconnected from power to be used, if power is already present in your light's original junction box (which is usually the case when using a pull switch light). Then you connect the white and black wires to your wall switch and use them to break the circuit at the light itself by wiring it between the light and the power lead.

Electrical fan connection

Firstly, yes the fused spur should be earthed. You should wire from the fused spur to the fan L,N & E.

Your light switch should be in line on your light live supply wire.

If you wish to use the light switch to turn on the light and fan at the same time you should also run a live switch wire to the fan L1.

This should FixYa.

Wiring a ceiling pull switch

The pull switch can be wired in line at the required position by removing the outer insulation on the cable sufficiently to allow for the intended live conductor to be cut and one end connected the switch in terminal and the other to the out terminal.

Make sure that the cable is not live or connected to the supply in any way while you are working on Please remember to rate this solution.it.

Ceinlg fan

If your house has only a black and white wire, than you need to tie the black, balack and white striped wire to the black of the hous. You than have to use the pull chains on the fan when the switch is on, to turn the fan or the fan light on or off. If youre house had a red wire than that would be tied in with the black and white striped wire and you would have two swithes on the wall to control the fan and light instead of having to use the pull chains.

With a switch it is always the hot wire (black or red one) that goes through it. If it doesn't work, it may be a faulty switch. They make everything in China now, after all.
