Not sure if adjusting top drawer height will fix the leak. The only way to fix the drawer seal leak is to take the drawer out and check what is wrong with the seal which is located around the top edge of the cabinet from inside.

Hope this helps. Please rate this solution if helpful otherwise please post a comment

My dishwasher is leaking from the bottom of the front door. I can't seem to get to the drain filter. Can that be removed? I think there may be a clog in it.

If the leak is from the bottom of the front door than it is most likely the door seal. If the leak is from beneath the unit and appearing to leak out from the front there are many sources for the water.

Check the seal around the door. It may have some residue that has collected prohibiting the seal. The water in the machine actually sits in a tub. The seal on the door prohibits the water leaking as the spray arm rotates.

To test the door seal start the cycle and stop the unit as soon as the machine begins the spray cycle. Open the door and observe that the tub is full but still below the edge. Dry the seal around the door. Place colored paper towels or cloth beneath the door as close to the door seal as possible, Continue with the cycle and observe for water leaks. Stop allow the unit to sit a few seconds open door and observe the seal. You are looking for the location that it is leaking.

If you can confirm that the seal is leaking you can purchase replacement seals, On some models they can be easily replaced.

In my experience I have not seen a filter in the return line. If there is a blocked return hose the unit would not leak. The tub would remain filled after the cycle. There is an overflow switch that prohibits the tub from overfilling if the tub has not emptied between cycles.

F&P DS603I Leaking with no faults or alarms

Hello Steve, Just saw your enquiry. Not sure if you have found the source of the problem by now. You are in F&P teritorry so should not be difficult to fix. I have a double drawer DD601 for nearly 10 years and I keep it running - recently had to replace some wires on the lid seal system on one drawer as these had cracked with age.
I don't have much experience with the single drawer units But it is very unsual not to have alarm F1 given the type of leak you are noticing. I am leaning towards the leak coming from the plumbing outside the dishwasher. Inlet hose or outlet hose under kitchen bench. You can check the seals and lid motor in diagnostic mode but this is not for the faint hearted as one can damage components if wrong command is given in particular heater and pump rotor. First thing to check is whether there is no physical damage to the seal. Slide your open palm along the housing inside with drawer fully extended. If you notice any cuts or undulations in the rubber then there is a problem with seal and needs replacing. Try to slowly pull out the drawer after starting the dishwasher. It should not come out easily if the seal motors are working. Not sure how easy it is to take the drawer out with Integrated unit. If you can take the drawer out to check water collection on base then that would tell you something. But make sure the mains power is off first. Send me a post. Sam the ozzie.

Unit is leaking water on the left side and after we fill up the water container. We are placing it in the proper position but it leaks constantly. It there a service fix for such a situation? ...

Hi
If its leaking under the water tank, its this.
There is a seal on top of the machine under the water tank. To get to it, remove the water tank, and set aside. There is a large doughnut shaped cap on top of the machine. Slip a screwdriver on the outside edge of the cap and pry up gently. When it snaps up, go to the other side of the cap and do the same. There is a black seal in the center and if you stick your finger in the center and it lifts out, it needs to be replaced. Clean any residue inside the opening with a Q-tip.
When you get the new seal, it won't slip in. Insert it at a slight angle (double lips down), then take your finger nail and run it around the bottom edge of the seal until it slips in, then push down. Snap the cap back on and your set to go.
If its leaking under the machine, its your boiler.
If its leaking into the dredge drawer, its the thiumbscrew in the brew unit, that holds the filter screen in.
If its under your drip tray there is a pocket behind the brew unit that has a cloged drain, just above the center of the drip tray in back.

It would appear that the tub isn't getting sealed so when its run it will leak

You will have to check the drawer lid seal which is located on the top inside of the housing.

Best to take the drawer out and then inspect. Replacement of of the lid seal requires lot of precision and patience.

Call a technician if you are not comfortable with such work.

F1 code how to fix and re-set

Is this happening with both drawers or just one.

You have water leaking into the base of the dishwasher under the drawer.

Most likely the drawer seal is leaking.

The flood switch is located at the base of the dishwasher and this needs to be dried.

Turn power off and take the bottom drawer out. Dry base with towels and hair dryer. Turn power back on without putting the drawer back.

Run top drawer to see if any water is leaking.

Water leaks can be due to faulty seal or drain hoses cracked.

Hope you are able to fix it.

My fisher paykel DD S03SS dishwasher leaks from the top, & drain

The drawers should not leak unless there is a problem with the vacuum seal. Try cleaning the edges of the doors and operate. You should feel the vacuum is holding the doors. The seals could be faulty or vacuum system may be faulty.

About not draining completely - a possibility is the common drain hose after the U adapter being clogged. Remove the clamp and pass a flexible wire coat hanger towards the main drain pipe. If both drawers are not draining then it is unlikely the drain hose between the U clamp and the dishwasher is clogged. Also make sure the height of inlet water pipe and drain outlet is as specified in the installation manual

Fisher Paykel DD603 Problem. Top drawer shows F1 and pump runs continuously. Lower drawer does nothing, no display. I think the Electronic Controller in lower drawer is fried and maybe the Mains Filter...

Yup, definately the bottom drawer controller, for some reason you can run a DD603 with no board in the top, so long as you have a board in the bottom, but not the other way around. This is the fault you get, constant F1 from the top drawer. If you are stuck try removing the display cable from the bottom controller, this may help, so long as you leave the chassis harness in.

Stay running in drain leaks for top left

Ok you have a few problems. the unit's draining because non stop because it's flooded (F1 fault). If you pull the drawer out and shine a torch under you'll see water that has leaked. I'd say you'll need new lid actuators fitted-if they are the white or cream coloured type - as these are unreliable parts the new black ones need to be fitted to stop any leaking due to the lid not closing correctly, a retro fit link support also (this is needed to hold the wires in the right place behind the tub). a new RFI module/ flood switch (lower pcb) also should be fitted and maybe a new lid(if the seals damaged check for any indents in the lid seal with your hand if so, replace it. cheers
