Absolutely not, In fact I have run about four different browsers. never had a crash problem caused by running them at the same time. Needs to be caused by something else. Possible culprit may be a BHO Browser Helper Object - a browser addon. look in your explorer options for addons, there is a place in there to disable them one by one. Id try this first.
