Remove the battery of the keyboard and clean, test teh battery . If bad replace the battery and test. If the same fault occurs since the mouse is working fine then the keyboard has a fault.
It is possible that the keyboard processor is faulty . You must check if the cost of a new keyboard will be as much as changing the IC in the keyboard.

I just purchased a new pc and it came with an Inland 70119 2.4GHZ wireless keyboard and mouse. The mouse works great, but I cannot get the keyboard to do anything. I have tried different batteries,...

If the keyboard and mouse came together, and the mouse works fine, and you've tired drivers, batteries, etc, then the only other possible issue is that the keyboard is bad.

Try connecting the keyboard and mouse to a different computer to verify this, otherwise replace the keyboard and see what happens.

Hope this helps

I've tried several times to get this wireless mouse and keyboard

  • Hi, these instructions will help you, and "everything that you do for the Keyboard; apply the same instruction to the Mouse." First, click on the "Start" button, in the ["Start Search Window], Type: keyboard; the "Keyboard's" Properties window will open. You can (Test) to see exactly how your keyboard is responding. If you are still having the same problem, (check, the Keyboard Status). "Update the Drivers," by clicking on the "Properties" button. Now in the event that neither of these solutions solve the problem, which I hope you shouldn't have to do anymore; "Uninstall the Keyboard. To "Uninstall the "Keyboard," do the following: Shut-down (turn- off completely); disconnect all the Keyboard Devices that are connected to the Computer. Next, turn-on the Computer, and go back to the "Keyboard Properties," this time click on the "Change Settings" button, next click on the "Driver" button, and select the "Uninstall" button. Once that is finished, shut-down the Computer again. Now you want to "Reconnect" all the devices that were connected before, and "Turn-on" the Computer. "You will repeat exactly what you did from the start, this will "Re-install the Keyboard. "Restart the Computer again after all changes have been made; this will ensure the changes take effect properly. "Rating the solution will let me know if it worked; or you may need further assistance, thanks."

My 2 year old son got hold of my Logitech wireless mouse, and coincidentally it has stopped working. The batteries have been changed, but still no joy. Could something have been pressed to disconnect the...

Yes, it sounds like something has been pressed.

There is a small button underneath your wireless mouse, and a more prominent one on the receiver connected to your computer.

To pair the mouse to the receiver, press the button on the receiver, then the button on the mouse. That should fix it up.

Go to start and run then type services.msc or if using windows 7 just go to start and type services.msc in the search box. Once open find the service "Human Interface Device Access". Change it from manual to automatic and make sure that it is started.

Microsoft wireless laser keyboard 6000 v2.0 keyboard not working

You have to press the button on the receiver that is directly connected to the computer. While doing this, press the connect button both the mouse and the keyboard. I did this and now my keyboard is working, despite the battery indicator turning itself off a few seconds after I install it.

Hope this solves your problem.
