Hello
Are you sure the laser lens is clean? if not get a CD player cleaning kit from Walmart and clean the laser lens first. The kit is really easy to use read and follow the kits instructions. Also make sure the CDs are clean and not poor copies of the original. Thanks for using Fixya.

How do I set the alarm clock on my wharfedale ne 3120?

Press the INFO button several times until you see "Alarm Status" displayed. I had to press it five times.
Then use SELECT button to choose between ALARM OFF and ALARM ON. If you choose ALARM ON, you can adjust the alarm time by first holding down the SELECT button until the display flashes. The you use the UP and DOWN buttons on either side of SELECT, to adjust the time, the type of alarm (Beep, FM or DAB) and if you choose FM or DAB, you then select the preset. Exit by pressing SELECT a final time. Then the INFO button to exit from setup.
Hope this helps.

Got a wharfedale NE-3272 DAB/CD Micro system, had it about four months now for my birthday. On friday(about three days ago)it started for no reason to switch itself to stand-by after about three seconds...

I had a similar problem with my wharfedale NE-3272 DAB/CD. Argos replaced it. Now the new one switches itself off when I switch to cd. I think it's one of those that look the part but are really just poorly made tat.
