Husqvarna Chainsaw Chain stopped turning

Have you take the chain brake off..? This is a band which grips the clutch drum and must be disengaged before use.

Check chain tension, this shouldn't be too tight.

Did you also put chain oil in the oil tank.?

My remington electric chainsaw 3.0 is not cutting and making a high pitch screech when i go to cut with it

Hello. Please make sure the saw brake is not set. This locks the blade so it cannot spin. If it is locked then if you try to rev the saw, the blade cannot turn and the clutch will scream. The other thing it could be is it sounds like the chain is out of the groove and the clutch is slipping BAD. UNPLUG the chainsaw. Check to make sure the chain turns freely around the cutter bar. If it does not move at all, you will need to closely examine the cutter bar to see if it has 'popped' out of the guide path. You must also make sure the chain is on the drive gear correctly.
These are 2 things to look at that can help you. Hope this helps..

Describe your sears 18"

I put a new bar and chain on my craftsman 18" chainsaw because the chain keeps coming loose. I am still having the same problem, after running 10 seconds, the chain falls off.

Bought a Homelite 14" electric chainsaw. After

I am not sure if you have figured out how to put the chain back on your saw or not, but it doesn't take long.
1. Remove the plastic yellow "T" shaped nut on the right side of the saw (towards the front of the motor housing)
2. Remove the black plastic housing that covers the rear section of the bar and chain
3. Place the chain back onto the bar making sure it is facing the correct direction.
4. Place the chain over the rear sprocket area
5. Turn the +/- yellow plastic knob (towards the back of the saw on the right side) in the - direction until the metal guide inside the plastic casing lines up with the hole in the chainsaw bar
6. Replace the black plastic housing and slightly tighten the yellow "T" shaped nut.
7. Now turn the +/- knob until the chain is tight. Once the chain is tight, turn the "T" nut until it is tight and you are ready to cut again.

How do i adjust talon cs38 chainsaw chain please

Loosen the bar retain fasteners to finger tight, then turn the chain adjustment screw to bring the loose chain just up to the bottom of the lower bar and have slight tension. Tighten the bar fasteners and check to see if the chain can be turned by hand fairly easily, but not droop from the bar. Make sure it is being oiled properly by running the bar tip at speed for several moments near some cardboard--it should throw off a thin line of oil. Hope this helps!

Need to replace chain on 450s mcculloch chain saw

You might want to purchase a combination set with a new bar and chain, if so, Oregon #108764 is the 16" length set.

If you only want either a chain or bar, then the following are the correct ones for your chainsaw:

Chain 16" @ 3/8" pitch = #91VX054G (low profile, semi-chisel)

Bar 16" = Oregon #160SDEA318 (w adjustable chain tensioner)
Bar 16" = Oregon #160SDET318 (no adjustable bar slot for use on chainsaw originally equipped with the Intenz bar only)

Hope you find this very helpful and best regards!
