CDs can be removed but you must use great caution not to break or bend mechanism components. Its better to have unit serviced by pro/tech

Why not show CD track info on Kenwood c-h7 using dp-mh5 player? what error ? what should check?

The issue with not showing CD track information on your Kenwood C-H7 using the DP-MH5 player could be caused by several factors. To resolve this issue, you can check the following:
  1. Compatibility: Ensure that the DP-MH5 player is compatible with the Kenwood C-H7 unit.
  2. CD format: Ensure that the CD is in the correct format and meets the requirements for playback on the DP-MH5 player.
  3. CD read error: Make sure the CD is clean and free of scratches, as these can cause read errors that prevent track information from being displayed.
  4. Connections: Check the connections between the DP-MH5 player and the Kenwood C-H7 unit to make sure they are secure and properly connected.
  5. Software/firmware: Make sure that both the DP-MH5 player and Kenwood C-H7 unit have the latest software/firmware installed and are up to date.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to seek further assistance from the manufacturer or a professional repair service.

My dad has a kenwood multiple compact disc player dp-mh5 that the disc tray randomly won’t open on, any suggestions on what to try?

Hello Skye, the Kenwood Multiple Compact Disc Player DP-MH5 of your dad, has a problem with a strap inside the mechanism, I suggest you take it to a specialized technical service
If you have technical knowledge, I send you the link to download the service manual, on page 16, the breakdown of the mechanics appears and shows you the belt with the number 46, that is the one that you must replace
I also sent you the link to download the user manual
Greetings Franco Dosil

Cd wont play

If the player do switch ON, and it won't read CDs, the fault might be to its optical pickup unit. Seek tech support.

Cd player will not play cd's. Error code: TOC ERR

A few things it could be:

No disc has been loaded in the disc magazine.

CDs being used are burned, test using different media or an actual CD.

Very dirty or scratched CDs.

The CDs are upsidedown.

Xplod cd player reads Err 99 and wont accept cd

I had the same problem.
i fix it by taking out the cd player and pulling the outer case off. when i looked inside and the (in technical terms) metal bracket that holds the white plastic disc (that i guess holds the cds) inside the cd player was bent down. i am assuming that cds were hitting this when i tried to insert them! i just bent it back up using a knife from the outside. i bent it up until the white disc looked level.
good luck

Kenwood RXD25 CD player intermitent??

Hi jenoss

Sounds like the unit has either a failing load belt to the cd drawer mechanism, not allowing the transport to fully load the cd. Give the unit a gentle tap just after the drawer closes and see if it resolves the problem.

OR a faulty spindle motor, you will have to take the lid off and after pressing play, give the disc a gentle "kickstart". If it then begins to run, then the motor is the problem.

If you find it is neither of these, get back to me here and I we shall go further

Playing CD-RW audio CDs on Kenwood DP-J2070

try to play a song from original cds.
maybe you brunt it in mp3 file, or its a different format. try to burn your song to cd-r.
if still, try to use nero to burner..
if it wont play your original cds and burnt cds, then the optical lens or the board is broken.
hope I helped you.
