Can get the oven to stay lite

If the oven lights for 4 seconds and shuts off you are experiencing an ignition module safety lockout. First verify that the flame is lighting at the top of the burner and reaching the very bottom venturii tube where the flame sensor is located. If this bottom tube isn't lighting or it takes longer than 4 seconds to light then you have a dirty burner and it needs to be taken out and rinsed. If the bottom tube is lighting and then going out your flame sensor needs to be cleaned, which is easy.

Flame does not always stay on after ignition, sometimes it does and when it doesnt you open and close the door for re- light ?

Opening and closing the door will reset the ignition sequence, do not do this repeatedly as you could cause a build-up of unburned gas in your heat exchanger and damage it. Instead verify that your ignitor is glowing, then see if the burner lights and make sure the flame carries all the way down to the bottom of the burner. If the flame stalls halfway or doesn't make it all the way to the bottom in 4 seconds after 3 attempts you will experience an ignition lockout, a safety feature built into your ignition module. If this is the case your burner needs to be cleaned and serviced, have a professional do it.
If the flame is reaching the bottom of the burner but still going out after about 4 seconds then you have a dirty/broken flame sensor. You can attempt to clean your flame sensor by removing the screw that holds it into the burner. With it removed it will look like a metal rod going through some ceramic, clean the metal rod part with a wire brush or emory cloth (fine sandpaper). Replace the flame rod and try again and see if the burner stays on this time. If it still goes out your burner needs to be serviced by a licensed technician.

My oven/stovetop isn't turning on, and it says "LOC" on the screen. Its like the stove won't ignite. What should I do?

To lock/unlock the controls: Turn all surface burners off.

Touch and hold the GAS/CONTROL LOCKOUT pad for 3 seconds until the display shows LOC.

To unlock the control, touch and hold the GAS/CONTROL LOCKOUT pad for 3 seconds until LOC disappears from the display.

Oven lockout on oven wont do anything

What is the model number of the unit? Look on the inside of the oven door for it. When you say "lockout" do you mean the door lock is on or is there a light on the control panel displaying a lock?

Oven not lighting

replace the ignitor. these will get a hairline crack in them and will not show proper resistance to allow the valve to turn on and let gas start flowing.
