I guess this will be all you need to take them out in safe mode and see what is to be done ..if you need on the support site ..choose maintenance after selecting the printer ..and there is a list where you can see the exact serial for the magenta printhead..
I read a little and all they say is to try to clean the fuze manually if the printer's cleaning mode do not functioned..or change it ..with a new one ..

Hp 2600dn toner leaks

As a trained laser printer technician I would firstly ask Are the toner units OEM (eg.HP) ( if not then there's your problem right away). has the Image transfer belt been replaced recently? are you suffering from Light patches in your prints ( HVT error).
but just to point out- refilled toner cartridges are exectly that they have put more toner in the hopper - the problem lies with the fact that the drum surface life the cleaner blade life the cleaner seals life the developer life cycle is based on prints made which when youve em[pied the toner once has been completed- re using these parts by just putting toner back in will greatly increase the failure rate, and with V poor developer will spuriously throw toner from the doctor Blade ( the part that sets the magnetic brush height) alternatively if the transfer belt has been 'clocked' then the ridges in the surface are too deep for the cleaner blades to have effect and this will also cause v pooy print quality.

3rd party toners will only cost you more money in the long run.

Samsung CLX-3175FN printer only prints VERY faint image. Just replaced all toners with genuine Samsung. Never had this problem. All contacts look clean???

Faint prints with Laser Printer usually occurs when the drum is full with the wasted ink (toner power) or when the Fuser Unit is not working correctly. First of all try cleaning the Drum and remove the wasted toner power. There should be an opening on one of the end of the drum. In some cases, it needs to be disassembled to remove the wasted inks.
Also remove the fuser unit and clean the unit. Please handle it with care and never clean it when it's hot/warm. Only do this, after the printer is left turned off for about half an hour.
If nothing is helpful, try with another/new drum or fuser, that will help you get to find out the exact cause of the problem.
Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

We have an HP Color Laserjet 2840 printer in our office. We were low on our black ink drum, bought a new drum and installed it. Copies are coming out perfectly but the "replace black...

The 2840 is a slightly different sort of machine when it comes to supplies. There is a main imaging drum unit which works for all four colors, and then there of course are the 4 colors. If the unit was asking for a drum unit then you should have instaled a Q3964A. It is entirely possible that your drum unit and black cartridge both expired at the same time, in which case, you need a black toner cartridge now.

The black ink print is very very faint

Indicates that the printer is using only color ink to create a black color. Check printer settings to see if you can set it to use only black cartridge. Also try printing with only the black cartridge inside if the printer permits, this way you can be sure if the black print head is faulty.
