First check your manual for trouble shooting the lights meaning. I think it is the bulb.

If the Lamp light and power lights are blinking orange, the lamp driver has failed, and the projector will automatically shut down. Unplug the power cord from AC mains wall socket, wait for three minutes and replug and see whether it helos you. If not, contact Dell service center.

I solved my problem, after much digging, i found out that there is power at the lamp switch but no power at the the bulb. There is a yellow and orange pair from main switch to the board and a red and orange pair to the board. The red/orange pair connector, had orange side all black. could have been a lose connection but as soon as I shorted the connector on the board, it all came on as normal. YES I ALSO THOUGHT IT WAS THE BULB. I have had this system for 2 years and we use it atleast 4 hours a day. The old bulb still perfect.

try pressing and holding the enter button on the projector for about 30 seconds - this resets it. It worked for me!!

Try pressing the HELP button. Don't release and press the power button. The LED lights should blink. Release then try to power on again.
