Hi it sounds to me like its not warming the water up try putting in a couple of towels and put the washer on its hottest settings and then when its going through the cycle touch the glass and see if its hot, its usually leaves these marks when the water dont heat up as it dont disolve all the cleaning powder or what ever you use.

try it on its hottest settings and touch it to see if its hot if it is then try another normal wash after and see if that has improved things, if it still feels cold then it could point towards the heating element not working inside the washer.

also check you have it on the correct settings put it on about 90degreed for the towels as you can pretty much boil them so give that a try and let me know what happens.

also the quick wash or rapid wash will do a poor job if your not using the right powder or gel so also try it on a normal wash

let me know what you find or if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

I had troubles with my washer going through a cycle and stopping when it got to the rinse cycle. I put in a new timer, the machine worked great through part of a cycle but again quit just at the rinse...

Verify that BOTH hoses are hooked up to the correct water inlet and they are TURNED ON and FLOWING. Your condition acts like hoses are reversed, and the hot (cold actually) is turned off, that will cause the machine to stop on the rinse cycle....

Wont spin or rinse out ends wash clicks and nothing else

without knowing brand or model, can only recommend check pump and drain outlet. Front loaders seem very finnicky about their outlets. You should be able to access it easily for regular maintenance. If your machine has stopped before it drained you will need to be aware of that water 'waiting' to exit! Check for string, twigs, anything blocking the outet. A jammed toothpick nearly cost me a new timing switch ($260) !
good luck

Maytag washer stops after wash cycle for long periods of time

Good day,
If the issue your describing occurs all the time then being brand new it's a warranty issue. It will be covered free of charge.
Call your selling dealer for details on getting a free warranty service call. Sounds like either a motor problem or timer issue, but it's not your problem.

My washing machine stops mid cycle, and it won't drain, rinse or spin. I've tried several times, not sure what to do?

I'm 99.99% sure its the timer. Timers are easy to replace. Write down brand, model and serial no. and go to an appliance parts distributor and pick-up a timer. When you replace first unplug unit. When wiring new timer make sure timer looks exactly the same. Then transfer one wire at a time to the new timer.

Brand new front Load GE washing machine stop at rinse cycle

Check that the Cold water valve faucet is open. Perhaps the earlier vibration problems have caused a wire to come off the water valve connections inside the machine.
