Question about LG WM-2277HW Front Load Washer
The Hall sensor is located on the stator. Unplug the unit. Remove the back panel exposing the rotor, using a 19mm socket, remove the rotor. The wire harness is clipped there so unscrew it. Using 10mm socket, unbolt the stator, carefully remove the stator. The hall sensor is located on the stator. Remove and replace it with a new one and reverse the proceedure. Be careful when putting it back, the stator has 3 plastic pins for alignment, and when putting the rotor back on watch your fingers as it pulls when you put it back. You may have to have someone push the basket back so the bolt will catch. If you want to test it first, here is some key information for you.

Most likely, your tape is not holding the pressure and the machine starts filling because it thinks the water is low. The new hose should fix the problem. If not it will probably mean a new control.
I would also like to know the location of the rub hole on the hose. What was it rubbing against? Thanks/Mike
