I bought an 2 ch. amp and a sub for this car. I'm nearly finished the hook up but only one is stumping me. Where is the remote turn-on wire or what color is it?

remote is generally blue out of the deck however if it is stock radio wire the amp remote to the accessory circuit on the back of sterio this will turn on the amp when your radio comes on instead of the radio turning on the amp there should be a memory wire that is hot all the time and a accessory wire that turns on the radio when the key is on

I have a keenwood indash dvd player i want to hook my amp to it but it dont have rca jacks so how do i do it

If your indash radio does not have RCA outputs, you can do two things. You can purchase a line level converter and hook it to one of the rear speakers. This will allow you to tap into the speaker wire, then convert the signal to RCA. Then you plug your RCA cables in there. The other (my recommendation) is to purchase an "add an amp" wiring harness. This harness will install between your radio and vehicle harnesses. It will have RCA output and remote wire. Then you run those back to your amp and there you go. You can find these at the scosche or PAC websites. You can also try www.crutchfield.com

As soon as i turn radio to cd it shuts off my amp and i loose all sound in all speakers the cd is playing but i get no sound.

It sounds like you have the blue wire (antenna remote turn on) instead of the blue/white wire (amplifier remote turn on) to turn the amp on. The blue wire turns off when leaving tuner mode.

I have my wire that is suppose to hook up to my head unit and to my remote on my amp but the amp stays on when i turn off amp how do i hook up wires right?

Should have a remote wire off of your radio....
Usually blue in color. Make sure it it says remote. If that don't turn your amp off, try to power antenna wire. One should work

Color code for panasonic model cq5301u [wiring code] i just need to know what colors are speakers wires right left front back etc.etc.and key hot and always hot wires or the color code for all the wires...

okay here it is

on all aftermarket radio they follow a color code

iginition 12 volts red
constant 12 volts yellow
ground black
remote wire amp turn on blue/white stripe

speakers
Lfront + white
Lfront - white/black stripe

Rfront +gray
Rfront _gray/black stripe

Lrear +green
Lrear -green/black stripe

Rrear + purple
Rrear - purple/black stripe

some radio have other wires too
like dimmer wire orange
power anntenna blue

and some flip screen radio have parking brake wire green
since your needing a wiring diagrame i would take it to a mecp professional 12 volt installer to install radio . about as fast as you blink your eyes you can fry the electrical system in your car and cost you 100's or 1000's of dollars buy and rewiring you car to fix it .

I HAVE PANASONIC CQ-C700U STEREO PLAYS ON ALL

are you running the rest of your speakers off an amp? if so, it sounds like you have the amp remote wire connected to the power antenna wire. on some radios there is an amp remote wire and a power antenna wire. the power antenna wire loses power when not listening to the tuner (radio). usuall there is a solid blue and a blue with white stripe. the blue with a white stripe should be amp turn on.

I need the remote code for a Panasonic TV

Hi sometimes things aren't so bad, if you can't solve your remote issue I'm sure the universal ones would work. Like me you can spend ages looking & trying to find out when it's just simple to replace it. Could check retailers that have repo's & see if there is one in their bundle. Good luck

No power

You have the wrong wire hooked up to the 'remote' input on the amp. The remote input waits for a discrete 12v+ signal from the radio. You have the 'power antenna' wire hooked up to the remote input. The power antenna lead shows 12v+ when the radio is on, but as soon as you change the source to CD, the power antenna drops the 12v+ and shuts your amp off. If you're radio has a blue/white wire, use that to turn the amp on instead of the blue wire you are currently using. If there is no blue/white wire, either the radio uses a non-standard color or the radio does not have the necessary wire. In the case that there is no true 'remote' wire, you can get away with using the accessory wire to the radio. That would be the red one. Jump that one over and you'll be running.
