Re: start up-acer manager
Try using a system restore
go to start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore. choose a date when your computer worked perfectly well or before the date you installed any new program or updates
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Well in oder to check if your computer can run the game try this website.
As for getting the game to load from the disk, try going to My Computer and then right clicking on the disc which should show as a D: or E: and choose explore or open. Once you are looking at the files on the disc look for the setup.exe or install.exe. This should install the game and any other dependencies needed if it is able to run on your machine.

Reboot the PC and press F8 at startup Select Last Known Good and let the PC boot Browse to: C:\Drivers\System\UTLIntelMatrixStorageMgr3\ Run iata86enu.exe and follow the instructions (next, next…) In the event you get pop-ups that the installer cannot find a particular file, hit the Browse button and point to the directory: C:\Program Files\Intel\Intel Matrix Storage Manager\Drivers\ At the end of the install, accept the option to reboot. Login to the PC and verify the new driver installed. Open Device Manager and look for the Intel SATA controller (the name will vary between models) Open the device. Go to the Driver Tab (at the top). Cinedash FIX for Windows 7 This works to fix the CineDash Media Console! I had the same problem with my Aspire 8920G Now it works fine. Getting the CineDash Media Console and Launch Buttons working If you have problems with either the CineDash Media Console or Launch buttons then you will be happy to hear that the solution for fixing these is easy! The first thing that you will need to do is install the “Launch Manager” which can be downloaded off the Acer website. Go to http://www.acer.com and click the service support, then driver download. Go to your model. Download the Launch Manager on the acer site. The filename should be “Kilimanjaro_v2.0.00_Vistax32×64_XPx32×64.zip” the version of Launch Manager under the Windows Vista operating system .This will get the Email, Web and Empowering Technology buttons working with their default settings. If you need to change what the buttons do, you can launch the application named “Launch Manager” in the start menu. Uninstall any previous version of Launch Manager The solution to my problem was to get the Launch Manager to run in compatibility mode for Windows Vista Service Pack 2. Unzip. Explore the new folder and right-click Setup.exe. To do this go to the Launch Manager Install directory (C:\Program Files\Launch Manager ), right-click on “setup.exe”, select the “troubleshoot compatibility” tab, check the “Troubleshoot program” check box and then click “The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won’t install or run now”. Then select “Windows Vista Service Pack 2”. Then click “Start” program. Now everything should work properly! It will install. But don’t reboot yet! Now locate and explore the freshly installed folder in your program files directory – (probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Launch Manager or C:\Program Files\Launch Manager depending on if you are running 64-bit or 32-bit) right-click on “LManager.exe”, select the “troubleshoot compatibility” tab, check the “Troubleshoot program” check box and then click “The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won’t install or run now”. Then select “Windows Vista Service Pack 2”. Then click “Start” program. Now everything should work properly! It will install. Reboot and enjoy properly synced volume, and fully functioning buttons.
Uninstall the existing drivers in device manager (RH click on my computer, go to manage, device manager.)

The Spoolsv.exe executable file is responsible for handling the printing process on a Microsoft Windows system. Although this process is not crucial to run your Windows system, you must not terminate it until you think that it is causing problems on the system.
To fix spoolsv.exe application error, you will have to remove these files from the system. To do this, perform the following steps on your Windows XP computer:
Open Control Panel, select Performance and Maintenance, select Administrative Tools and then select the Services option.
In the Services management console, locate the Spooler services, right-click on it and select Stop.
Next, open the C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers folder. (Here, we are assuming that your Windows is installed in the default C:\Windows folder)
Delete all the .SHD and SPL files from this folder.
Next, open the TMP folder and delete all old and unused files from this folder.
Finally, restart the Spooler service from the Services management console.
Note: If you are unable to delete the files in Normal Mode, then you may have to restart your computer in Safe Mode to delete the files. To start your PC in Safe Mode, press F8 at system restart and then select the Safe Mode option from Windows Advanced Options Menu.
If deleting the files does not rectify the problem, you must perform a System Restore and rollback your system to the time prior to when the error started appearing on your computer.
It is important for you to know that application errors can also occur due to virus or spyware infections. In fact the Spoolsv.exe process is also a known backdoor vulnerability that can be planted on your computer for malicious purposes by a hacker.
