Sounds like you may have scorched the connection and it's bled into the PCB, looks like you may have to get it replaced, if the batteries are at fault as in they should not have leaked then they battey firm will replace the item. check warranty terms on batts and the t/cam.

Batteries leaked in my camera

I am afraid that this may be the end of the camera for you. That acid almost for sure got into the rest of the components of the camera and corroded it.

My Bushnell trophy Cam is taking up to and over 4000 pictures in a day! I have to change the batteries everyday!

Eeeeek...4000 per day...have you changed the interval settings to 1 pic every 60 or 180 secs.

failing that..you have a real live one here...is it still under warranty?

4000 pics a day..wow..thats alot of pics.

1
Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
2
Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
#3
Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
4
In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
5
Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
6
Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

I turn my camera on and whithin seconds it turns itself off (trail Sentry 11-9200)

Your problem is likely due to weak/worn out batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, the batteries may be to weak/worn to properly power the camera, or the camera may require professional repair.
