Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-20FS120 20" TV
We love (loved) our tv until we turned it on one evening. It came on for one second then shut off and won't turn back on. We tried different outlets and it stil won't work. Do you think that it's something that we can fix ourselves ? I have the tv pulled out of the cabinet and am ready to "disect" if possible. Also, do you think that it may be from dust after all these years ?
Tthank you, James L. Francis
First, check the fuse if it's busted.replace it and power it up.if it gets busted again, maybe theres a short in the power regulator.if you have experience in troubleshooting, try to fix it.but if no,bring it to a service center neer you and let them do the job.you might get electricuted by the capacitors inside.those are charged w big amount of current and can cause shock.u
