Question about LG (GCR8525BK) Internal 52x CD-ROM Drive
There is no need for drivers for your drive, since Windows already have the necesary drivers for the cd/dvd drives. Either your drive is not working properly or the settings at the bios are wrong. In order to provide more helpfull tips to check out, clarify me these:
1.What kind of connection does your drive has? IDE or SATA? For IDE you will notice a long connector (with 2 series of 20 pins) at the back of the drive near the power connector. For SATA there is no long connector but a small one with just 7 pins.
This photo might help you:
2.Does your computer had another cd/dvd drive before? What kind of connection (IDE or SATA) did this drive had?
In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.
