Question about Olympus FE-20 Digital Camera
Remove battery and remove the memory . Reset the battery back after about 10 minutes. When the battery is put back , press power on and hold. If the display does not come on or the camera shuts off, remove battery and check for the voltage and current factor of the battery, if possible the battery must be checked out with another set as a low current factor on the battery can, make the battery switch off in this manner.
Or test the battery to power any device to ensure that the amperage is present.
However if the battery is good and the camera is still shutting down it needs a closer look. Open the set only if equipped or experienced as it will bettter to get this sorted out with the help of an Olympus service centre because even if the power board is identified, the spares cannot be sourced but by them. so call up the nearest centre , get an estimation, decide and set over.
