Question about Washing Machines
I have a Kenmore washer top load Model 20904. First stopped spinning then agitating. Makes some grinding noise when I try to restart it. Drains water OK. I suspected a coupling problem but could be something else. I removed the console and the cabinet then unscrewed all 3 retaining motor screws. The motor doesn't go down, seems to be retained by some part; by the anti-rattle clip as shown in the manual? I can't inspect the couplings if I can't remove the motor, unless something else is wrong.
Many thanks in anticipation for help.
That is only 2 screws holding the motor, and 2 clips at the pump a 2 at the motor.
1st took the pump and than the motor and you gonna see the coupling
