Lets isolate the problem that you are having. Please connect an external monitor to your laptop. If the issue does not persist, then the distortion is cause by a faulty LCD. On the other hand if the distortion also occurs on the external monitor, it indicates that the built-in video graphic card has already malfunctioned. I hope this helps you.
