Question about Toshiba Satellite A205-S4617 Notebook
You most likely have a faulty power supply, usually there is a break or short circuit in the Cable, sometimes the internal electronics fault. If the LED power ON indicator is lit and when you plug it in it goes OUT, then your may have a short circuit in the Cable. If there is NO LED on the unit to indicate power on, then most likely then the supply itself is faulty. One could replace the Cord, if the problem in the cord could be found, however the best approach, would be to replace the PSU, once and for all.
