Question about Hawking WR254 Wireless Firewall Router (WR254-CA)

Open Question

I have a Hawking WR254S, And I am unable to locate any kind of disk that came with it, nor am I able to figure out how to log in to it. I have searched and searched, and not a single address works... I have checked my ipconfig... and it only shows my external IP, and not my network IP... However, I have 3 other PC's connected to this router. Only one PC can use the internet. Nothing is shared. And I am unable to configure it, due to the lack of a manual of any kind.. Unable to even download one that isn't just pictures or tells you the specs of the router itself.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Hawking wireless router (HWRN1A300N) will not connect ot internet

First of all - your ISP has nothing to to with DHCP. DHCP is handled internally by your router (or DHCP server).
If you did not configure your router otherwise, it should hand out an IP address automatically.
If you ipconfig shows that you have an IP address, then I assume that this address is manually configured.
You should set everything to automatic until you know it works.
So...
Go to your start menu -> Control panel -> Network connections.
Right-click on "Network Connections" and choose "open".
Look for your "Local Area Connection", if you are wired into the router, or something like "Wireless Network Connection" if you're using wireless.
Right-click "Local Area Connection" and choose "Properties".
Double-click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and see that both "Obtain an IP address automatically" AND "Obtain DNS server address automatically" are selected.
Click "OK" twice and make sure that all property windows are closed.
Go to the command prompt and re-do "ipconfig /all" (No quotation marks of course).
Check the line that says DHCP server, it should be the same IP as your Default Gateway (your router).

If this does not work for you, copy the result form that command here and I have another look.

If it works, please come back and leave a comment. This might help others with the same problem.

Hawking Extender- Connected to WiFi but cannot access Internet

First think I always do is Reset Linksys Router and disconnect extender. Then turn off all security on router. Do soft reset on ipod. leave extender off and see if you can connect to the linksys. If you can then plug in extender (still with security off) then see if ipod connects to extender.

you might have to soft reset ipod again once you connect the extender.

if that works. reset security. Let me know how that goes.

Can't connect to HWREG1 with mac

The Hawking Unit uses http://192.168.1.250 as the default IP, the user name: admin and no password. This should work on any platform.
