Hi,

  • Locate the cables for the power button, reset switch and hard drive LED. The cables are connected to the interior of the front plate of the pc case. Untie and separate the cables if needed.
  • 2 Flip the cables over to read the names labeled on the connectors. For example, the label for the hard drive cable typically reads "HDD LED."
  • 3 Refer to the motherboard manual for the locations of the PN1 and PN2 connector groups. Connect the cables to the designated connectors to ensure proper installation.
  • 4 Find the corresponding set of pins for the power, reset switch and hard drive LED on the motherboard. The pins are typically labeled "PWSW," "RESW" and "LED."
  • 5 Connect the cables to the corresponding set of pins by lining up the black wire of each cable to the pin labeled "GND," meaning ground.

  • Please post your feedback and Vote if the problem resolved as per your satisfaction.

All that's written on it is the P codes, which are damn hard to read as it is, never mind trying to read anything on it...
Spkr and HDLED, and PWRLED are all marked, but the pwr and reset arent... or if they are, i cant find them

check your motherboard manual if you do not have it go to www.support.hp.com and look for manuals based on the model. this should give you detailed instructions as to which pins you plug those cables into. usually they are located towards the bottom of the motherboard to the right of your PCI Expansion slots

    How to conect front panel

For this you need the motherboard manual.
If you do nor have it, download it.
The setup procedure will be at the beginning, after the specifications. The two cables from the front panel that are important are the (power on , LED reset) cable, and the USB cable.
Both these cables are built to the Intel developed, case standard, on most PCs.
The problems start when you are building a PC with an old case. The wires from the front panel will be all separate.
The motherboard manual will have the location of the pins, and the "pin out" for the motherboard.
The color lead is positive, and the white is negative.
The speaker wires are red and black, and the polarity does not matter.
Do them one at a time. Start with power on, when you have found the proper pins and hooked up the leads, then reset, then power LED, then HDD LED, and last the speaker.
Then find the USB pins and connect the USB cable to the motherboard.
The PC should boot, assuming the other components are installed.

LED lights on GA-Z77-D3H motherboard will not turn on the LAN port plugin after plugging in cable from modem. Can't get internet access. Thanks

First check the cables in proper condition and connection. If everything ok and LED do not glow, then we have a bad news in hand. Last step u can try is reinstalling the OS ( so that any other drivers may not conflict with LAN drivers). But still 99% i think it is a motherboard problem. Ask ur company to change the motherboard

    1. check whether the bus connected with the hard disc is connected properly
    2. check whether your ram is ok
    3. check whether all the cables connected properly
    4. it might be also due to damage of your vga
    5. also see whether our processor is working properly
