You are OUT of focus -- turn the focus knob until stars are POINTS of light NOT DONUT HOLES!

The disk with a dark center MEANS it is not in focus. Just TURN THE KNOB. Point the scope at the moon and try again.

I can't see through the eye piece! The finderscope has been adjusted to view the moon but when I looked through the eye piece I could only see black :( its a tasco galaxsee 45-076280

Align the finder to the main scope during the day before using it at night. Use the lowest power (biggest number) eyepiece first.

I need the manual . I've never had a telescope before and now own a used Tasco Galaxsee 45114375. Need to know all about the telescope.

All of Tasco's manuals are on this web site:

http://www.tasco.com/pages/instruction-manuals/

If this is on an EQ mount you will also need to learn how to polar align the mount. There are several videos on our Astronomy club's video web site that will help you. Look around for the Equatorial mount videos here:

I need instruction manuel

All the available TASCO manuals are here:

http://www.tasco.com/pages/instruction-manuals/

The manual will only have assembly instructions. It will not tell you how to use the telescope to find those tiny -- dim objects in the night sky. Join and Astronomy club and the members will help you.

eye pieces are interchangeable and you will want a few of them for different magnifications.
The previous owner probably got a new scope and kept them for that.
Here's where I go for lens' in Toronto Canada.

http://www.escience.ca/telescopes/RENDER/5/2022/1052/W1052.html

The rule of thumb is cheaper eyepieces are ok for the low magnification 35mm-20mm but as you get to higher magnification a better eyepiece will make more of a difference. How expensive is up to you and how serious you are into this. I think my better lens was a used tele-vue for $80

My telescope

Try the largest eyepiece you have (20mm, 25mm) for a wide field of view. Of you try to view the moon with too much power (smaller mm eyepieces) it will always come out blurry - too close for such magnification.
