Please give some more inputs to indicate if the remote is communicating? Does it have any manual control? Did you remove the AC and keep aside the plug for about 30 minutes and then try.?
Does the display come on the remote?
Have you replaced battery in reverse order?
Can the clock be set on or does it go on to blink?
Please comment and I shall try and help

The upstairs ac display is blinking cool on, but not cooling the house. The outside fan is running. please help. The downstairs display and unit working properly

Normally Honeywell will "blink" COOL ON when its in a timed delay, usually 3-5 mins. And then COOL ON will stay on without blinking. If you turn tstat off then wait about 5 mins, then turn to cool, watch for the blinking, then wait 5 more. If it doesn't turn on, check/change the batteries if it has them. Try turning the AUTO/ON to the on position to bring on the fan only. It won't cool doing this but it helps in homeowner troubleshooting.

The display went blank on my honeywell t8600c thermostat. when the batteries were changed, the display shows the time and -AC. Nothing else functions

I believe this thermostat will display -ac if it loses power from the furnace or air handler. Your thermostat will operate on low voltage(same as your door bell) and constantly powers your thermostat. I would check your furnace breaker, and fuses to see if there is power to the equipment

I have Honeywell T8011R programmable Thermostat. Turn AC on last night for first time...working fine...came back late morning to find display and fan off. Check circuit breaker...on. I took it off and...

Hello, first you must verify if you are getting 24 volts to the tstat at the secondary side of the transformer, if not you have a bad transformer. If you are getting 24 volts then check the batteries in the thermostat.

My furnace has stopped working. the thermostat (Honeywell Chromotherm III) displays HOLD - AC. What does this mean? I replaced the batteries but nothing has changed.

Try to find a reset button or just change out the thermostat. I'm guessing you don't have the manual. Thats a pretty old model, I think you have to set the time and day before you can use the thermostat.

-AC appears in the display of chronotherm III

I have had the same problem- twice. It was a similar but different problem each time. The -AC means the ac control voltage isnt making it to the thermostat. In my case both times it was a switch in the control circuit that wasn't closing properly. The easiest was the front cover switch. If the front cover is removed from the furnace or has vibrated loose, the switch will open, preventing the furnace from running. The other instance I ran into was a flow switch on the exhaust blower which ensures the there is flow OUT the chimney. The switch wasn't functioning, so the furnace wouldn't start. The blower would come on for a short time, but the burners wouldn't light.

Hope this helps,

Inoperative Bose Wave Radio

You should contacty Bose directly to find out about service. There may be a fault in the power supply, or one of the circuit boards in the unit. This will require proper troubleshooting and parts replacements.
